Dear Patients!
Would you like to have a vasectomy performed?
Contact us and, as a first step, schedule an appointment for the legally required information and counseling session for a vasectomy. In the course of this appointment, a routine urological preliminary examination will be performed and a medical history will be taken. Please do not forget your E-Card for this preliminary appointment—and come with a well-filled bladder. For medical reasons, a urine flow measurement is usually also performed during this appointment. It is therefore important that you, as a patient, feel the urge to urinate for this.
We will then discuss the procedure, possible risks, and alternatives to a vasectomy with you. This conversation establishes the medical and legal basis. A vasectomy appointment can then be scheduled thereafter. With us, you will usually get an appointment for a vasectomy very quickly. Please note that the Urology Center is open to publicly insured as well as privately insured patients.
If you have special needs, please let us know when making the appointment so that we can accommodate them.

Important information about appointment cancellations for a vasectomy!
It is important to us that all patients in our doctor’s office have the shortest possible waiting times. This also applies to vasectomy. We therefore do not “overbook” our doctor’s office, which, however, incurs high costs for us if patients do not show up. Therefore, it is necessary that you always keep scheduled appointments or cancel them in good time, at the latest 24 hours before the appointment; otherwise, we may charge compensation for expenses. Please also note that a preliminary consultation that has already taken place must in any case be charged if you cancel the vasectomy appointment - and do not schedule a new appointment for the vasectomy itself.
As a rule, every patient receives a reminder SMS from us 48 hours before the appointment, to which the appointment can be very easily canceled at any time by replying “Appointment cancellation”. Of course, an appointment can also be canceled by email (storno(at)urologenzentrum.at) or by telephone – although we recommend a written cancellation in your own interest. For further information and regulations regarding appointment cancellations for vasectomies or other private services, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
